  • How many guests can The Vault accommodate? How many guests can The Palace International accommodate?

    • *120 seating/ 240 standing (depending on setup)

  • How many hours are included in the rental? 

    • As many  as needed during our hours of operation. The number of hours determines the base rental rate of either venue. 

  • What is the average cost for weddings at The Vault?

    • With us, nothing is average! Pricing for Weddings can fluctuate a great deal depending on your specific requests. We do our best to be as flexible as possible with every budget. Please click here to view our wedding packages!

  • What does “access time”, “deposit”, and “bar guarantee” mean?

  • Are there any extra costs or hidden fees?

    • Absolutely not! Just like you, The VAULT does not believe in nickeling and diming. The price is inclusive of the several amenities that are offered*. No automatic gratuity will be charged!

  • What is included with the facility rental?

    • *Complimentary WiFi Internet
      *Access to comfortable chairs, various style tables, and stylish couches.
      *Onsite event coordinator
      *Lighting options to accent the atmosphere you would like to create
      **Hardwood floors and exposed brick walls

  • Are we a same sex friendly venue?

    • We support love in all its forms! We believe in a love that does not discriminate against people on the basis of sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or any other factor. At The Vault, the LGBTQ+ community will find friends, safety, respect, and joy.

  • Is the facility handicapped accessible?

    • Yes. Please let us know in advance so we can direct you to the best handicap accessibility points at our venue.

  • Is there parking on site?

    • Since we are located near downtown Durham, there is no parking lot on site. However, we do have access to reserve private parking that is within walking distance to The Vault/Palace International. Please let us know your guest list in advance so we can direct you to available parks. 

  • Is there Air Condition and Heating in The Venue?

    • Yes.

  • Do I have to rent chairs and tables for the guests? 

    • We can provide enough tables and chairs to accommodate*120 seating for indoor use.

  • Do you provide coordinator services? 

    • Yes! The Vault and the Palace International has a dedicated team of event coordinators, catering experts! Ask about our onsite coordinating/wedding/event services! A wedding planner/coordinator is recommended if you do not already have one.

  • Are we required to use certain vendors?  

    • You are able to use your own vendors*. A preferred vendors list is available upon request. The Vault/Palace International requires licensed and insured bartender and security. It is also our right to decline certain vendors. 

  • *Are we required to use certain caterers?  

    • Since we are a catering venue, we encourage you to take advantage of the in house catering! We do allow outside catering but there is an additional fee depending on if your guest list is over 50 people.

  • Who sets up table and chairs? 

    • Clients setup and break down. This service can be provided by Vault staff for an extra fee.

  • What about the bar? Can we have our own alcohol?

    •  We have both open and cash bar services! Please note, our venues requires licensed and insured bartenders. We do have trained and licensed bartenders available.

  • May I hold my rehearsal dinner or brunch at your venue?  

    • Absolutely! We would be honored to host your rehearsal dinner or brunch. Please inquire for pricing details.

  • Are there accommodations near the The Venue?
